The frozen surface of the Loch, decorated overnight with thousands of tiny clumps of hoar frost, is illuminated by a short-lived winter dawn.

The golden light of dawn is soon to disappear in the darkness of a winter storm, approaching from the west behind Beinn Dearg and Cona Mheall.
